Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony typically includes 20 minutes of prelude music, the music for the processional, interlude (if requested), recessional, and 5-10 minutes of postlude music depending on how fast people leave after the ceremony. We offer this service as a quartet or a trio. However if you book a trio, we suggest keeping the violin viola cello arrangement for the benefit of sound.
Music for Reception
It is also possible to have Arcato to play background music for the either a cocktail hour or reception after the ceremony, for as long as you wish!
Special Musical Requests
We are happy to try to accommodate any musical requests you may have for both the ceremony and background music for no extra fee! However, the type of ensemble you choose can make a difference in what music is available. We usually suggest the string quartet because it is much easier to find the repertoire for this formation compared to the trio. Please ask in advance if you have special musical requests.
